About Cedars

 

Cedars Tutoring Centre is the brainchild of Susan Brown, BA hons (QTS), Director.

 

In 2003 Susan recognised the need for a setting where families newly arrived in Qatar could ensure their children’s education continued uninterrupted whilst they waited for placements in mainstream schools.

 

As a result, Cedars Tutoring Centre was established with 5 students. Since then over 500 full time and part time students have passed through our doors and we are currently undergoing an expansion project in order to meet continued demand for placements.

 

Cedars caters for children from ages 5-18+ of all nationalities. Our multicultural environment provides a unique atmosphere where every child is treated as a separate individual. It is our policy to keep class sizes to a minimum thereby ensuring your child receives the attention they deserve.

 

Susan heads a team of dedicated professional teachers who specialize in a wide variety of subject areas.  The safe, caring environment of the primary and secondary school facilities gives each child a sense of security during a period of transition that can often be unsettling. Our tutoring programme is tailored to meet the requirements and abilities of your child.
