Tuition Regulations |

1. All new admissions are required to pay a registration and assessment fee of QR300.
2. Tuition fees for a set course of tuition (normally 6 weeks) are payable in full in advance of the first tutoring session.
3. No reduction or refund is given to students who leave Cedars at any time before the end of the tuition course, regardless of the length of time they attend tuition classes.
4. No refund or reduction is given to students who are on holiday during tuition sessions.
5. No refund or reduction is given to students who are absent due to illness during tuition sessions.
6. Students cannot attend tutoring sessions unless fees are paid in full.
7. Tuition fees are non-refundable and no credit will be given if a student fails to attend a tutoring session.
8. If a tutor cannot attend a tutoring session the student will be offered either an alternative time slot or a refund of the tuition fee for that session
9. Fees may be paid by company cheque, personal cheque, bank transfer or cash. Credit card payments are not accepted. Post-dated cheques beyond the first tutorial session will not be accepted.
10. All legal fees incurred by Cedars for the recovery of unpaid tuition fees will be paid by the party concerned (debtor).

Fee Regulations

1. An advance deposit of QR2,000 is required for each child accepted into Cedars to secure their placement. This deposit will be offset against the first term’s fees and is non-refundable.
2. The advance deposit will not be reduced or cancelled under any circumstances for new students starting after the commencement of term.
3. All new admissions are required to pay a registration and assessment fee of QR300. This fee is non-refundable.
4. No refund or reduction of term fees is given to students who permanently leave Cedars at any time before the end of term, regardless of the length of time they attend the school.
5. No refund or reduction is given to students who are on holiday during term time.
6. No refund or reduction is given to students who are absent due to illness during term time.
7. All fees, which are invoiced in advance, must be paid prior to the commencement of the term to which they apply
8. Fees must be paid prior to the starting date if a student joins after the commencement of the term.
9. Fees not paid in full by the due date will be subject to a QR200 administration fee per child, for each month or part thereof, until fully paid (unless special arrangements have been made between the parent’s employer and Cedars to pay the fee by company cheque within a specified time-frame).
10. Parents unable to pay the fees by the due date must contact Cedars before the first day of term and provide an explanation of their financial circumstances supported by adequate documentary evidence. It is anticipated that only cases of severe financial hardship will be considered as valid reasons for delayed fee payment.
11. Fees may be paid by company cheque, personal cheque, bank transfer or cash . Credit card payments are not accepted. Post-dated cheques beyond the first day of term or beyond the starting date (if a student joins after the commencement of term) will not be accepted.
12. Fees for new students starting part way through a term may be calculated on a weekly basis. This calculation will be dependent on the actual start date.
13. Written notice of withdrawal of a student must be given at least four weeks before the end of the last academic term attended by the student (excluding holidays). If no such notice is given, half a term’s fees will be payable in lieu of notice.
14. All legal fees incurred by Cedars for the recovery of unpaid fees will be paid by the party concerned (debtor). |
